Life has not slowed down lately! This past weekend, JT and I went to Dallas with my dad for my great uncle's 80th birthday. It was nice to get away. We went to Crate & Barrel and got him some shelves. He got to meet a lot of my dad's family. We watched the Cowboys LOSE on Sunday! :(
Oh, and we accidentally ran around White Rock Lake. JT was supposed to turn around after about 3 miles and meet up with me so it'd be 6 miles total back to the car. Wellllll...he kept going until he'd been going about 7.5 miles and it made no sense to turn around because the lake's 10 miles around. Wowsa. I ran about 7 and walk/jogged the rest of the way.
I'm on my way to Padre for a family reunion on my mum's side. We'll be there until Sunday, but I'm bringing my laptop to get some work done (blah). October's just going to be a busy month in general, but I'll try to keep you posted.
THE TULSA RUN IS WEEKEND AFTER NEXT! AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
