Make up Blog

Long time no post. Life has been busy, especially work. I'm not allowed to use my work computer for anything other than work. You can imagine how that conversation went. Today, I spent all morning calling a TV reporter who wanted one of our authors. Six phone calls apiece later, the author says she can't film at Hastings Bookstore because they sell Harry Potter and witchcraft. I wanted to say, "Then we can't do anything for you, Ma'am. I'm Harry's publicist. Good day!"

I went to my first OU game but firmly maintain my Longhorn roots. This does not, by any means, mean I am a Sooner fan. I claim my Longhorns! Still, I got to see JT in his element and it was nice. We took Route 66 home!

Will blog more later. Here are some pics!

Now wait a minute . . . she doesn't want her book to be sold in the same place as a Harry Potter book? Does she realize that means that she won't be able to get her book sold ANYWHERE?!

hello

I think you recently left me a comment, or was it an email? I'm not sure because I only saw it for a milisecond and then it *vanished*. I don't know what you said, but I will imagine you were telling me that, in no uncertain terms, I am the coolest 30ish single mom of two gorgeous little boys that you've ever known. Am I right, or am I right?

Please retry your communication attempt...I love hearing from my peeps.
