Unprepared

School is school. I had a bit of a wake-up call because I failed my first anatomy lab quiz. It was a strange kind of exam where BodyDoc had arranged various models in about fifteen stations, and we'd go to the different stations and name #10, or describe the function of #4, or explain the complexities of #6's inner folds. It wasn't very fun, and I hope to be prepared next time.

I've discovered that I am a much better teacher than student. New friend and I stayed after class and worked on our homework for a couple of hours. I walked her through dimensional analysis, and we actually got the answers right, when I had missed the quiz problem three days in a row because I didn't understand it.

This weekend will be a welcome distraction...I am traveling to the great state of Arkansas to see Best Friend. We discovered Skype video chat today and got to talk in the next best to the flesh. When we were talking, we could do homework, show off our rooms, brush our teeth, and show off the objects we were speaking of. It pretty much ruled! Seeing her is the only thing that's going to help me get through this week. Seriously, I have a huge Anatomy quiz, a lab quiz, Chemistry homework, and everything else in between now and then. I think it's time to break out the color-coded planner and stick to it strictly. So I am focused on how much fun this weekend is going to be, even if we'll be holed up studying and watching movies the whole time. We don't need much to be entertained!

I am going to try to get better at posting pictures on this blog. My experience needs to be thoroughly documented so I can write a book after I've gone through charismatic shock detox.

It's not that bad, really.

I just have a feeling there's something coming that I failed to overlook...
